Accountant Needed

Overview

We are currently looking for an accountant to help with the financial accounts for an
organisation. Please get in touch if you have experience with year-end financial
processes such as reconciling accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded, etc.
An experience working specifically with CICs or charities is essential, preferably
someone based locally (Long Eaton) or around Nottingham.’

Here is some info about us:

 Long Eaton Settlers Legacy Association (LESLA) – a voluntary group –
was established in 2022. Its purpose to support and preserve the
legacy of the Long Eaton Windrush Generation and their descendants,
be celebratory and inclusive of the wider Long Eaton community and at
the same time remembering our roots.
 Our aim is to have our own premises to serve as a one stop support,
community engagement, and heritage site.
 We are led and supported by a team of volunteers.  It’s the passion and
dedication of our volunteers that will enable us to grow our
membership, fulfil our aspirations and thrive.
 LESLA are currently exploring converting our current structure into a
Community Interest Company (CIC).  This transition will allow us to
enhance our social impact and operate with greater flexibility while
maintaining our commitment, that is, the Windrush Generation and
their descendants and the wider Long Eaton Community.
